West Virginia Delegate Steve Westfall has called an interim Zoom meeting of the NCOIL Health Insurance & Long Term Care Issues Committee on Friday, May 19th at 12:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. CT/10:00 a.m. MT/9:00 a.m. PT.
The purpose of the meeting is for the Committee to continue discussion on the NCOIL Biomarker Testing Insurance Coverage Model Act, sponsored by Asw. Pam Hunter (NY), NCOIL Treasurer. As communicated by Chair Westfall and Asw. Hunter during the Committee’s last meeting in March, the Committee plans to vote on the Model during the NCOIL Summer Meeting in July. Accordingly, this interim meeting is primarily meant to discuss specific comments on/suggested revisions to the Model. In order to be considered during the interim meeting, the deadline for submission of comments/revisions/amendments is Thursday, May 11.
