The Insurance Legislators Foundation (ILF), the NCOIL 501(c)(3) educational and research arm, offers scholarship opportunities for qualified legislators to attend NCOIL meetings and to participate in NCOIL discussions and debates on critical policy issues.

Scholarships can allow lawmakers to gather with legislative colleagues from around the country to share information on what works in the states and what does not.

Scholarships cover reasonable travel and meal expenses, up to $1,200, and are based on availability. Per NCOIL policy, legislators must apply for a scholarship prior to the meeting they wish to attend. Scholarships are limited to two per legislator.
